ETESIAS aims to achieve its objectives through a business strategy based on two development paths:
FINAL PRODUCTS | research activity aiming to assess the mechanical performances of the elements realised adopting the ETESIAS technology and development of numerical and analytical models to support the structural design of these elements; |
PRODUCTION PROCESSES | setting up of the production process optimising the concrete mix, the control system of 3D printing and the procedure for checking the products’ quality. This activity will be performed also in collaboration with sector’s operators. |
A Teamwork
Italcementi S.p.A., a leading company in the Italian building materials sector, now part of the HeidelbergCement Group, has recognized the strategic value of the technology owned by ETESIAS for the structural applications of 3D printed concrete. On this issue, ETESIAS and the Department of Italcementi on Global Product Innovation have signed an agreement for a joint collaboration on future activities that will enable ETESIAS to take advantage of a technological support for the industrialization of its technology. This will also allow ETESIAS to gain great visibility at national and international level and to develop its business areas.
